Khan’s demand comes amid mounting pressure from PTI, which is pushing for a transparent process to address their concerns regarding electoral reforms and governance. These commissions, according to PTI, are necessary to ensure that any forthcoming elections are credible and that the process is not marred by manipulation or irregularities.

Gohar’s remarks underscore the PTI’s stance that dialogue with the government can only proceed if there is a genuine commitment to legal reforms. The opposition party has maintained that without the establishment of these commissions, any further discussions will be futile.

The situation marks a critical juncture in the political landscape of Pakistan, as the country prepares for upcoming elections. Imran Khan and his party are striving to secure their influence while ensuring that the political process is as transparent as possible.

If the commissions are not established, it remains to be seen how the government and opposition will navigate the next steps in this delicate and often volatile political climate.
